Research Grants
One of HemoShear's important strategies in funding development of new human and animal surrogate systems and databases is to utilize the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) funding programs of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Each grant application has the support of industry experts and executives who write letters of support and serve as program advisors for each grant. HemoShear has been awarded a number of grants which are helping to fund exciting new commercial applications of HemoShear's human and animal surrogate systems.
