Seeking skilled and energetic Research Scientist for a fun and fast-paced biotech environment to conduct experiments and research studies.  The position involves working as a team member to perform quality scientific work. Experience in primary cell culture, Western Blotting, Immunofluorescence, Real time RT-PCR, ELISA techniques and strong troubleshooting skills are desired.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs cell culture work and sample preparation for project end point analyses in collaboration with Study Director
• Performs end point assays and analysis.
• Completes assay development or testing, as needed
• Responsible for training of team members and new employees
• Performs project cell culture work
• Performs experiment preparation and completion in team effort
• Responsible for upholding all safety standards discipline guidelines and laboratory compliance requirements
• Maintains high level of documentation and records in laboratory notebooks and data file

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Science with relevant experience of 2 to 4 years is preferred. PhD is also desirable.

Seeking energetic Laboratory Systems Assistant to support laboratory needs in a fun and fast-paced biotech environment for consumable supplies ordering, inventory control, and document control.  The position involves providing support to laboratory operations, scientific teams, and accounting needs. Requires a high level of organization and documentation to integrate inventory and document flow.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Places orders with vendors using purchase order system and accounting software
• Receives, stores, and documents incoming and outgoing supplies and samples
• Maintaining records on all contract compounds and overseeing compliance with compound use
• Completes quarterly inventory of supplies and reporting
• Maintains all asset documentation according to Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintains and supports implementation of Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintains all laboratory document records
• Supports implementation of biosafety measures
   

REQUIREMENTS

•  Bachelor’s in science field with 1-2 years experience desired.
