Directions

From Washington, DC and North of Charlottesville:

  1. Take I-66W into VA.
  2. Take Exit 43A onto US-29S toward Gainesville/Warrenton and follow for 80.1 miles, where it becomes US-29/S Emmet Street (follow an additional 0.4 miles).
  3. Make a Left onto Barracks Road and keep straight as it turns into Rugby and then into Preston Avenue.
  4. Make a Right on Ridge/McIntire Road (US250) and keep straight as it becomes 5th Street SW.
  5. Make a Right onto Harris Road and then an immediate Left after Carter Bank.
  6. There will be two brick buildings on the left; we are the first.

From Richmond and East of Charlottesville:

  1. Take I-64W into Charlottesville (approx. 66 miles from Richmond).
  2. Take Exit 120 (5th Street Exit) towards VA-631 Charlottesville.
  3. At the light, make a Right onto 5th Street Extended, which becomes 5th Street SW.
  4. After passing Food Lion, make a Left onto Harris Road and then an immediate Left after Carter Bank.
  5. There will be two brick buildings on the left; we are the first.

From Staunton and West of Charlottesville:

  1. Take I-64E into Charlottesville (approx. 33 miles from I-81 in Staunton).
  2. Take Exit 120 (5th Street Exit) towards VA-631 Charlottesville.
  3. At the light, make a Left onto 5th Street Extended, which becomes 5th Street SW.
  4. After passing Food Lion, make a Left onto Harris Road and then an immediate Left after Carter Bank.
  5. There will be two brick buildings on the left; we are the first.

From Research Triangle Park, NC and South of Charlottesville:

  1. Take NC Highway 86 N for 27.4 miles.
  2. Turn Right onto US-158/NC-86 and follow into Virginia (11.1 miles).
  3. NC-86 N becomes VA-86N/S Main Street (another 0.2 miles).
  4. Take the VA-265 N ramp toward South Boston.
  5. Merge onto US-29N and follow for 64 miles. Merge onto US-29 N/US-460 E toward Charlottesville/Appomattox/Liberty University and go for 6.5 miles.
  6. Merge onto US-29N toward Amherst/Charlottesville and follow for another 60.2 miles.
  7. Merge onto I-64E toward Richmond and after 1.7 miles take the 5th Street Exit, Exit 120, toward VA-631/Charlottesville.
  8. At the light, turn Left onto 5th Street Extended, which turns into 5th Street SW.
  9. After passing Food Lion, make a Left onto Harris Road and then an immediate Left at Carter Bank.
  10. There will be two brick buildings on the left; we are the first.
